02/01/2022 -- Apparently, someone went to the shelter to claim the unlicensed big dog after all! Who knew. Not sure who the person was but at least the person came forward. Good, now that person owes me $1,000 in vet bills because of their irresponsibility in allowing a big dog to run loose in a neighborhood with small pets around.
That person should have known better than to let the big dog go wander in a close quarters neighborhood like this with small children and people that can't really handle a big dog. That was just irresponsible on the owner's part. I was going to say that's pretty shitty of an owner to not claim their pet.
I guess the person didn't know the big dog nearly mauled my little dog. Thankfully, my dog Lucky is healing and active.
Lucky just took a walk around the neighborhood, before that he took his antibiotics and the Dr. said there's no need for Lucky to get more medicine. It looks like he's healing properly. Yay, good news! Speedy recovery, indeed.
People are like, "Lucky certainly earned his name." LOL.
01/30/2022 -- Since we can't prove with hard evidence even though several witnesses have said the big dog came from that young guy's house, the manager of this area is now handling it. The guy should be fined heavily for lying and wasting people's times because all this investigation is going to go back on him in the end, anyway. It's one thing to lie to neighbors. It's another thing lying to the area manager and law enforcement. He's lucky my dog is recovering from his big dog's attack. In the end, he was the one who lost a pet because he didn't take good care of his big dog.
Lucky is healing:
01/29/2022 Part II -- Just saw the guy this morning who is the suspected owner of the big dog. He's just a visitor visiting whoever he knows in this neighborhood a relative and he thinks he can bring all this crap into the neighborhood. People are trying to prove he is the big dog owner but so far no success. I think it's enough proof that two other neighbors saw the dog come from that house where the young guy lives.
01/29/2022 - Lucky in the morning.
01/27/2022 6:55 PM -- he finished his meal, took his antibiotics and pain reliever medicines.
01/26/2022 9:23 PM - went potty after he rested for the evening. We think we know who the big dog's owner was but the neighbor won't admit to it because he knows he'll have to pay a fine for having an unlicensed big dog and the neighbor that had the big dog also needs to pay the vet bills. Of course he won't admit to being the owner of a big dog that attacked an innocent little dog, especially when he has to pay thousands of dollars in fines. Two neighbors saw that the big dog was always near that house where the guy is and animals usually stay nearby their owners' houses. It's like I'm in my own CSI investigation. I told people they aren't going to prove anything...the guy probably got rid of any evidence that could suggest he was the owner of the big dog. If two neighbors saw the dog in his area I'd say that's enough proof to get the guy, especially if TWO neighbors saw where the big dog came from.
01/25/2022 8:35 PM - back from the vet! He got his drain removed on his side. He was energetic once the tube was gone -- back to barking again and moving around. Now he's resting at home.
01/25/2022 Lucky ate some food, antibiotics and pain relievers. He has a good appetite this evening.
01/24/2022 -- Currently resting. He just drank some water and ate a little bit. Spoke with the vet and gave them updates about Lucky's back leg. They said everything is good and he can come in tomorrow to take the drain out.

On Saturday evening, Lucky was attacked by a big dog. He wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Lucky was just walking the back trails like usual and a big dog suddenly appeared out of the shadows. It was so scary. I wasn't there and I wish I was there. I didn't think anything like this would happen in a safe neighborhood. Then again, two people were shooting at each other at the entrance of my neighborhood a while back. It's ridiculous how things like this happen even in the safest of neighborhoods.
They taped off the entrance for three hours a few months ago when the shooting occurred.
I was like, "WHY THE FUCK IS THIS GHETTO SHIT HAPPENING IN MY MIDDLE CLASS NEIGHBORHOOD? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THERE ARE CHILDREN AROUND. THE THUGS CAN ACT LIKE HOOLIGANS IN THE MIDDLE OF A DESERT WHERE THERE'S NO ONE AROUND. I CAN'T BELIEVE A SHOOTING TOOK PLACE MONTHS AGO AT THE ENTRANCE OF MY NEIGHBORHOOD, TOO.
One person got killed at the entrance and not sure what happened to the other one.
